Cutting Edge Granite was established in 1999, and in these past nine years, we have grown into a 100+ employee, multi-million dollar business. The reasons behind our rapid growth are our quality service and premium products. Although Cutting Edge Granite came to be in the late 90s, our original company began in 1987 as Carpet and Tile Masters, which served the flooring market. However, during this time we recognized that the granite fabrication market was emerging, and the needs of customers were not being met. A combination of factors led us to leave behind Carpet and Tile Masters and devote ourselves full-time to the fabrication and installation of natural stone such as marble and granite, and engineered stone like Silestone and solid surfacing like Corian.

What set us apart from all the other natural stone and engineered stone sellers, fabricators, and installers was our ability to provide our customers from Naples to Clearwater, and all over Tampa Bay, with quality engineered or natural stone countertops in record time. When Cutting Edge Granite was founded, our competition took 8 to 10 weeks to fabricate engineered or natural stone vanity tops or fireplaces. We, on the other hand, had a two-week turnaround. Nobody can beat great work delivered in less time, and our customers appreciated this fact.

In keeping with our reputation and our traditions, we are still able to beat our competitors thanks to our investment in CNC fabrication equipment. Fabricated pieces like natural stone countertops or Corian vanity tops would be 40 to 50 percent finished if cut by a saw, a technique used by many of our competitors. But with CNC, pieces made of natural stone slab are at least 80 percent completed after running through the machine, resulting in faster turnaround times and lower prices. Our fabrication techniques for marble countertops, granite sinks and Corian vanity tops has given our company the ability to offer our customers lower prices while also improving quality and increasing productivity. Further, CNC gives us the ability to produce more intricate designs and edging options for your engineered or natural stone projects.  Cutting Edge Granite also uses a waterjet system that cuts complex shapes and parts into any engineered or natural stone up to 8 inches thick.
